Meet Dr. James Lohr

Dr. James Lohr grew up in Salisbury, NC, just about an hour from Madison. His journey into dentistry started early, driven by a love for working with his hands and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. He believes in providing personal, hands-on care that helps patients smile brighter and live healthier lives.

Dr. Lohr holds a BS in Biology from Catawba College, completed his postgraduate studies at UNC Charlotte, and earned his dental degree (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He’s a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is certified in Invisalign. Beyond the office, Dr. Lohr stays active through continuing education and community service with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and North Carolina Missions of Mercy. On his days off, you’ll find him outdoors, staying active, cheering on the Packers, or relaxing with family and friends.

Jessy, our office manager, keeps things running smoothly, while Missy welcomes patients at the front desk. Our dental assistants—Gaye, Alli, and Taylor—support care behind the scenes, and our hygienists—Ashley, Sherri, and Sarah—help keep smiles healthy and clean.

We pride ourselves on offering a personal, down-to-earth dental experience. Our office has deep roots in the community, passed down from two previous doctors, and many patients have been with us for years. While we don’t currently feature many high-end amenities, patients appreciate the warm, sincere atmosphere that’s been built over time—and the trust that comes with it.
